If your kids love Sesame Street and the water, this is a great amusement park to visit – Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. We went there last week and had fun all day long! It’s not cheap; one ticket will cost you $50 (children below 24 months are free). In the end, we decided to buy season passes for $77 and hopefully will go at least 3 times to justify the cost:). The pass also includes 30% off all food and souvenirs. There is plenty to do for all ages. The water slides are great and are better suited for older children. We also found plenty of water-filled attractions for our toddler to swim or splash around in. We enjoyed them too!
If you want a break from the water, Sesame Place also offers traditional amusement park rides and boardwalk-style games featuring prizes of stuffed Sesame Street characters. Overall, the food was good, with kids meals served on character-clad cups and plates for your child’s amusement and take home pleasure.
Our daughter loves all of the Sesame Street monsters and for her, this was the best day ever! At end of day, we had dinner with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, Big Bird and Zoe. We paid a fixed price (adults only; kids are free) for this treat, and while the food buffet was mediocre, each character visits your table to entertain your child. They also perform one of their trademark songs while you eat.
The park is clean, well maintained and well staffed. Don’t forget your photo or video cameras at home! These fun-filled moments spent with your family are worth capturing on film.
