So You Think You Can Dance – National Dance Day, July 26
The National Dance Day was launched in 2010 by So You Think You Can Dance co-creator and Dizzy Feet Foundation co-president Nigel Lythgoe. National Dance Day achieved national recognition when Congresswoman Norton, declaring the last Saturday in July to be the country’s official National Dance Day.
The Dizzy Feet Foundation is proud to present the official 2014 “Everybody Dance” routine, choreographed by SYTYCD co-creator, executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe. Watch and learn as Lythgoe and director/producer and “So You Think You Can Dance” judge Adam Shankman demonstrate this fun, simple routine choreographed to the song “Too Cool To Dance” by Eden.
This year the National Dance Day Flash in Washington D.C. was at National Mall from 1PM to 5PM.
The Kennedy Center in D.C. had Dizzy Feet Foundation free 2 hour show at Millennium Stage for NDD 2014. We arrived 10 minutes before start and place was packed! There was Jenna Elfman and Fik-Shun to present and to teach to audience the beginners routine.
